HMS bounty was a british frigate built in 1784. In 1787, HMS Bounty sailed from England with captain BLIGH and his crew of 45 people bound for Tahity to collect Breadfruit plants to be transplanted in the west Indies as cheap food.

•In 1789, a mutiny broke out in the Bounty, the captain and 18 of his crew had to leave the Bounty in a lifeboat. The mutineers took HMS Bounty to Tahiti at Pitcairn Island then burned it.
