\nCalled “Yun”, “Griseldis”, “Magda” … and “Pen Duick” (15.10 m overall). Purchased by the TABARLY family in 1938; restored in 1957 (polyester hull); completely overhauled between 1983 and 1989 – plans by the famous naval architect William FIFE -. ERIC TABARLY’s favorite with its oversized sail, its mahogany fittings and bronze fittings.
\nEric TABARLY, engineer, architect and great champion, was thrown from the edge and died in 1998 while going to celebrate the centenary of Pen Duick in the Irish Sea. The Pen Duicks are the flagships of the future City of Sailing in LORIENT from NOVEMBER 2007<\/p>\n
