\u2022 In March 1921, The bluenuse, a fishing and racing schooner was launched in Lunenburg. Built by the Smith and Rhuland shipyard, the bluenose was a real Ico thanks to the fishemen\u2019s Race. The bluenose won her first trophee in October of 1921 and it was imposible during the next 17 years to defeat her.
\nBluenose stuck a reef in Haiti in 1946.
\n\u2022 \u201cBlue Nose II\u201d , the replica of the legendary Canadian schooner \u201cBlue Nose\u201d was launched on July 24, 1963 from the Smith & Rhuland Shipyard in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. She was built from identical plans and by some of the same men that constructed the original.<\/p>\n
